The Lake City School District has provided over 150 staff and over 1200 students with computer access and other resources which include:
District Wide: Windows 7 Professional computers for teachers and administrative staff with access to HP LaserJet Network Printers. Digital and Video cameras available for checkout.
Lincoln High School building: Three (3) labs that include a Business Lab with thiry (30) Windows 7 Professional computers; an Industrial Tech lab with thirty (30) Windows 7 Professional computers; and a Media Center Lab with thirty (30) Windows 7 Professional laptops on docking stations. While each student has an iPad at this building, there are times when typing on a physical keyboard is preferred; therefore we have 10 wired keyboards available in the Media Center, as well as a checkout cart of thirty (30) for use in classrooms. Additionally, several teachers have these wired keyboards located in their rooms for student use.
The Industrial Tech Classroom also has 3-D printers, a Plasma Cutter, Industrial Router, and a Milling Machine that are all computer-assisted.
Each classroom is provided with a docking station for teacher laptop, overhead projector, and speakers for sound. Select classrooms also have Apple TVs, allowing for streaming and mirroring content. Additionally, there are thirty (30) Smart Boards located in selected high school classrooms.
Bluff View Elementary School building: One lab that includes thirty (30) Windows 7 Professional laptops on docking stations; one portable lab that includes thirty (30) Windows 7 Professional laptops.
