PAC Meeting - Winter season Parent-Athlete-Coach meeting on Monday, November 6 at 6 pm in the High School auditorium.

Welcome

On  November 7, 2017, Lake City Public Schools is seeking voter approval for a bond referendum that, if approved by community members, will enable the district to expand and enhance our educational programming at Bluff View Elementary School.

This project will allow us to:

  • Have the early education space needed to deliver services to ALL our early childhood students and their families.
  • Offer wrap around care (Tiger Time) service during the school day for our pre-school students enrolled in partial day programming.
  • Improve our drop off and pick up areas for both cars and buses.
  • Provide a safer, more secure building and site access and updated surveillance technology.
  • Address the inadequate cafeteria space.
  • Access state funding available for early education programming.
  • Continue to offer physical education on a daily basis to all of our students in grades K - 6.
  • Allow for better community access to performances and other student activities.

The school district has sought to present a referendum that will fund the district's needs for expanded space while remaining mindful of the community's commitment and support. Please take this opportunity to gather information and ask questions.
