THE AG TAX CREDIT
• A 40% statewide tax credit for agricultural landowners on school building bonds.
Tax credit applies to all existing and future school building bonds and is paid for by the State General Fund. • The credit goes into law this tax season.
• Landowners will see the credit on their property tax statement.
• Homeowners and business owners will not be required to pay extra due to the tax credit.
• This tax credit program has bipartisan support with no expiration date.
