Jump Start Academy ~ August 15-25, 2016
(8:30-10:00 Monday through Thursday)

This free camp  was financially supported by the State of Minnesota and it “jump started” 28 incoming 3rd and 4th graders for the 2016-2017 school year. The camp’s curriculum was designed around the Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Tim Anderson taught 14 math students and Sarah Nutt taught 14 reading students. Then we switched groups. Therefore, all 28 students reviewed reading and math skills each day while learning a lot about the Olympics!

------------------------------------------

Jump Start Academy was run through “Target Services”

  • Students must come each time the class is scheduled.

  • If you run a class, your time needs to be made up during the same week. (Ex. Tim and Sarah will need to make up two hours per week during the same work week by coming in early or staying late at Bluff View.)
