Welcome to Lake City Community Education | ||
|
My name is Amanda Kvasnicka. I am the Community Education Director for Lake City Public Schools and I have been working for Community Education since 2013. I graduated from Metropolitan State University with a degree in Early Childhood Studies and went on to teach preschool for 10 years at various preschools in the Twin Cities, finishing my time in the cities as a Child Care Center Director for KinderCare. Early on I developed a love for preschool and families I served. In 2013, I moved back to my hometown of Lake City and accepted the role of School Age Child Care Coordinator at Tiger Time. I currently wear many hats for this District, I oversee our Early Learning- School Readiness Program, ECFE programs, Early Childhood Screenings, Preschool & School Age Childcare, Youth and Adult Enrichment classes and assist with Facility Use requests for our school buildings. In May 2016, I graduated from Minnesota State University-Mankato with my Masters of Science in the area of Educational Leadership. I look forward to serving the students and family of our District, where lifelong learning is encouraged and supported. My contact information is: |

ECS connects you and your child to programs and resource to support healthy growth and development. ECS is required by Minnesota law for all children before entering Kindergarten.
Is there a fee? ECS is FREEto all children ages 3, 4, and 5-year olds.
